God day! I hope everyone had a restful weekend. Remember, it has been proven that "you are what you eat." The way you eat will design the shape of your body. WHEN YOU EAT SAY... "WHY, WHAT, WHEN, AND HOW." NEVER SAY "WHATEVER." WHY - The effect the food will have on your body (nutritional value) WHAT- The type of food needed for the body. WHEN- The time between each meal needs to be 3 or 4 hours or what has been recommended by your Doctor. HOW- The food must be prepared (cooked) so YOU can benefit from the nutrition that it provides. #ALIFESTYLE #EATHEALTHY #STAYFIT #LOVEATALLTIMES! 3 more days. Day 17 Friday exercises: 30 minute run and walk (some aerobic moves on the track), for lower body air squats, and abdominal exercises was executed. Day 18 Saturday exercises: mixture of aerobic, athletic, kick & punch moves, dance moves, a lap was ran (half mile ) after each aerobic move to create a cross fit effect, pushups and dumbbells exercises was executed for upper body toning. Meals should consist of fruits, vegetables, nuts, lean meats (bake, grilled or broiled) and go light on the grains. No starving! Eat plenty of the gooood stuff! Replenish your body with HEALTHY FOODS WITHIN 45MINUTES AFTER YOUR WORKOUT (GIVE your body BACK the FUEL it needs QUICKLY). *Make H2O (water) your only beverage for the entire 21 days. ( I understand sports drinks for electrolytes). *Make yourself a homemade vegetable or fruit smoothie at times in place of a meal. NOTE: A fast from meats (flesh) could lower your intake of iron. Your body needs Iron to produce red blood cells. A LACK of Iron can cause iron deficiency anemia and you will feel tired, weak, and pale. From my studies I have found these fruits, vegetables, and nuts to be high in Iron... Raisins, Prune Juice, Peaches, Dried Apricots, Spinach, Mustard Greens, Collards Greens, Broccoli, Green Pepper, Baked Potato, Almonds, Cashews, and Sunflower seeds. See you at 5:45pm!
