"God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation - TopicsExpress

"God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing," 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 Christians have nothing to worry about. Death is no longer a threat to us. If we are alive or dead, we have Christ -who is the resurrection and the life. Brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in body are still alive in spirit -just as we are. The flesh counts for nothing. So, whether alive or dead, we all have the promise of the resurrection. The proof of this is Christ, already resurrected, the Firstfruits of what we will all later receive.
