God hears you. Even when you are at your darkest hour and you feel as if no one cares, or that God has abandoned you, He is there and He is listening to and attending to your sincere prayer- I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, From the wicked who oppress me, From my deadly enemies who surround me. (Psalms 17:6-9 NKJV) When God affirms that He is with us, the threat of our present circumstances diminishes. The fear and anxiety that overwhelms us fades away in the light of His presence. You are the apple of His eye. He cares for your soul. Pray this psalm today as a faith proclamation that God will respond to the real and perceived threats crouching at your door. He will deliver you into a new place of strength and confidence in Him....
