Dear Sir/Madame: Let me introduce myself my name is Belmiro Jose Barros III and I grew up with my Grandparents in Marion, MA. My Grandfather was born in “Fogo” before he immigrated to the United States at the age of 6 years old. I am currently living in Siem Reap, Cambodia and have been following the news of the eruptions on Fogo which is extremely sad. I own and run a restaurant here named after my Grandfather called “Belmiro’s Pizza & Subs” which is extremely popular (belmirospizza). Our of respect for my family and relatives in Fogo and Cape Verde Islands I’m doing a fund raiser next week featuring some Cape Verdean Dishes and educating people about Who & Where the Cape Verde Islands are.
