God is Our Friend Probably the greatest deception blinding humanity is the sin of self-righteousness. They think that they are good enough to go to Heaven. This deception is there because they think that they already have peace with God-that He is their friend, and they are His delight. What we must do (with the help of God) is place them on the stand of Gods Courtroom. They must see that they are guilty criminals in His sight, deeply in debt to His Law, and desperately in need of His mercy. This is why Gods Law is not only perfect, holy, just and good, but it is wonderful. It shows the sinner that God isnt their friend, but their enemy, because they have greatly offended Him. Yet, there is mercy for those who will call upon the name of Jesus. Time is short. The door of mercy will soon close. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time. THE WAY OF THE MASTER
