God is in control. He knows every hair of Jaydens head, all the intricacies of every organ of his little body. And we know that He loves Jayden more than we could ever imagine. And today has been hard, frustrating, a patience stretcher. Lisa had several meetings with health care professionals today from dieticians to occupational therapists to doctors. The liver blood work is now heading in the right direction...still has a long ways to go, but improved. His temperature continues to run very high despite regular doses of motrin, and the doctors have not found a cause. Seizures have not decreased and drop seizures continue to be the biggest concern because of the risk for injury. Jayden has no appetite and the possibility of a feeding tube has been broached, which introduces new issues. Specifically please pray for liver enzymes to continue to go into normal range; that his temperature will normalize and stabilize, and that any underlying cause is found and treated; that seizures decrease, especially the drop seizures; and that Jaydens appetite returns. And please tonight, pray for Lisa (and Jeff, who got back to Duke tonight from his new job) for a supernatural strength and grace. Theres so much theyre facing on a daily basis, and everyday is bringing new challenges. They need peace and rest. They are so very thankful for Team Jayden, for each one of you who is praying daily for their family and recognize Gods provision for them during this time.
