God is not fooled. He sees our sins for what they are. They cannot be hidden from Him. I have found it is better to acknowledge them, and throw myself on His mercy. The hard part is not returning to them after His blood and forgiveness have been extended to me. For that victory only staying very close to Him who first forgave have I found to be successful. So I draw near to Him, I pursue my Bible study every day. I seek Him on my knees with an urgency that mirrors my great wickedness, and I call on Him loudly for help with my cherished sins. And finally I practice surrender, total, complete, with nothing withheld. Only then, through Him, may I have a victory.
