God is smiling about this one!! What a great and humane idea!! I hope all states follows. To treat others as an equal human being---a simple idea. I do believe this is the way Jesus might do it!!. To offer a hand up..to treat them as people...good deal.. Not step over them as they sleep on the sidewalks or in a doorway...like just a bother. I remember one day being downtown for a meeting at one of the churchs..well they kept the church doors locked and chose who could come in. Well there was a young man fast asleep in the entry/hall by the main door. Besides feeling so sad for him ...I couldnt understand how he could sleep with only a thin jacket on ..it was very cold with wind blowing. The vision really sadden and troubled me. I need to be warm and comfortable and feel safe to fall asleep.... He may have not eaten..this is so bad. There is many on our streets here and across our rich country. Thanks be for who worked this idea into actions. May this continue. Oh yes and realizing budgets and etc. Keep the grand truth in mind...it is cheaper. Win win and bonus are people brought back into life and we are pleasing our Heavenly Father!! Also think what would Jesus do? And on judgement day Jesus says I.was homeless and hungry and you took Me in! What a feeling that will be --not to hang our heads in shame and stumble over our words trying for an excuse. GOD BLESS.
