God is working all things together for our good, we have been chosen, called, and justified. The reason for this? God is for us, answers paul, so no one can stand against us. Did you get that? God is working for us, defending us, protecting us, and, most important of all, redeeming us. These truths should bolster your self- esteem, encourage you, embolden you,and give you hope. When you feel abandoned by those you thought were your friends because you stood up for Christ, God hasnt left you. When rumors are spread and you are falsely accused, God knows the truth. When you know the sting of disappointment, rejection, or defeat, God is working behind the scenes and turning bad into good. And when gnawing guilt engulfs and condemns you, God forgives and forgets.
