God must always be first in your life even in a marriage. One of the key ingredients to placing God first is to honor covenant. Just as we are in a covenant relationship with God, it is synonymous to your marital covenant. That is why God uses marriage in His Word to explain our relationship with Him. Always remember that we are of another kingdom. Pray for your husband to have a complete and stable relationship with God and that he becomes one with the Word. Day 18 - Pray that your husband will have an eternal perspective—living in light of eternity. Pray that he will reject materialism and temporal values and put God first in his life. (Matt. 6:33; Deut. 6:5; Eph. 5:16; Ps. 90:12) Prayer Bless You Lord Jesus for you alone are worthy of our praise. Thank You for allowing us to see another day and having breath in our bodies. We ask for forgiveness of any and all sin. We plead the blood of Jesus over our lives now and thank You for Your grace and mercy. We pray today that (Husbands name/my husband) that according to Matthew 6:33 will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and then all things will be added to his life. I pray that (Husbands name/my husband) loves You with all of his heart, with all of his soul and with all of his strength.(Deut. 6:5) (Husbands name/my husband) is very careful on how he lives, he wise and not unwise, and is making the most of every opportunity because he is aware that these days are evil. We thank You Lord that (Husbands name/my husband) is taught by You to number his days that he may gain a heart of wisdom. (Psalms 90:12) We pray all of this in Jesus name, Amen!
