God will give you DOUBLE for your trouble! Many of you know our landlord caught us off guard when he came and gave us a 30 day notice without much warning. Wed lived in the house for three years and we always paid our rent and even took care of most of the upkeep ourselves. We didnt have any back-up funds for that situation. Yall know weve been staying at my moms one bedroom apartment. Ive been on the couch, the kids have been in my moms room, and Isayah was blessed with an air mattress. Were grateful for having a soft place to land. We were planning on having to stay for a few months more as we got our finances in order, BUT GOD! As of this week we will have the keys to a home more than TWICE the size of our old house. Well be paying less per month than we did on government assistance. My mom is coming with us and shes going to have her own suite with a livingroom, bathroom, and bedroom. Almost everything is brand new in the house and theres a basement/storm cellar. God has gone above and beyond with this house! The landlord said she had a good feeling about us and shes going to let us start moving our stuff in this week with only $400 down! She said if we decide to in the future, wed even have the option to buy! The house is on three quarters of an acre, and an awesome perk is that the elementary school is literally right across the street! Id be lying if I said there werent days I wanted to quit, but I know my God too well to think He wouldnt come through for us and give us more than we even asked for! The greatest thing.....Gods not finished yet! Stay tuned! Thank you to everyone who encouraged and prayed for and with us. Huge thanks goes to my husband, kids, my mom, and my bestie. I would have lost it without God, them, and God in them. Were not completely out of the valley yet, but this definitely puts us closer to the exit!
