Gods Day one and all! The weather is clear, the temperature for myself is wonderful, most everyone else will want a light jacket or long sleeves for the 9 am service. The 11 am service should be warmer. All our missionaries got home safe. They have all reported a blessed time, except the two teenagers I did not get to talk to. Talk to the team and hear the stories, come to service next week when they give their report, slideshow also! Today we read in Gods Word: Psalm 116:1-7 New International Version (NIV) 1 I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow. 4 Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Lord, save me!” 5 The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. 6 The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me. 7 Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. Lord we give thanks for those who went to do your work, for the blessings they could give and the blessings they received in your name. Lord we give thanks for all the chances you give us to spread your love, and for the times we are the ones in need and others can share with us.
