God’s Word is eternal. If He spoke it 3,000 years ago, it’s still true today. It’s simple to hear a clear word from God by reading His Word. The first step is to enter His presence. Psalm 100:4 tells us we do this by praising Him. When you feel His presence, that’s when you begin to pray. The amazing thing about that verse is God invites us to make our requests known to Him. If you want to talk about your family, your marriage, which job to take or what school to send your children to, God welcomes your requests. If you don’t get anything else out of today’s devotion, get this: You have a personal relationship with God, and He wants to talk to you. Lord, thank You for letting me make my requests known to You.
