Golden Chick ... a quick review Time from speaker to food delivery (at drive through): 3 minutes! I consider that beyond fast. I tried one fried thigh, one roasted thigh, an order of okra and a yeast roll. All were DELICIOUS!!!!! The okra was hotter than you usually get it in a restaurant, which was amazing, considering that that took my order home before tasting it. I am going to have to deny myself, sadly, the yeast rolls from hence forth. They are so so yummy, but not really diabetic friendly. The chicken, both styles, was very juicy and fresh. Also served very hot, so you know it hadnt been sitting long. My bill for all of the above was less than $7, which I consider a real bargain. The person at the window repeated my order several times at the speaker and again when I got to the window (I guess since it wasnt a combo order). She was extremely polite and friendly, which was a change from many of our older fast food establishment. All in all ... A+. These owners have Clarendon roots ... please support them! Golden Chick is definitely a welcome addition to our tax base!
