Goldeneye, this one is a Common/Barrows hybrid. It has returned to the same small body of water during the migration for the last several years. It usually stays for a week or two before heading further north. He is in the middle of a mating display. The males will lean their heads all the way back and rest it on their tail and then give their mating calls. The display often concludes with a kick of their legs which send water out in a large curtain behind them.
