Golf courses are not traditional haunts of black dogs; nor are they sacred sites in the accepted sense of the word, though golfing enthusiasts might disagree. They are, however, geomantically interesting, being wholly constructed landscapes designed with the harmonious balance of yin and yang in mind - or, as golfers call it, rough and smooth, bunker and green. Have the architects of these shrines to leisure unknowingly manipulated a confluence of earth energies such as yin and yang to create the conditions for the emergence of monsters? --Merrily Harpur, Mystery Big Cats
