Cant help my self i mean come on there are using a Celtic method of fighting here the salmon leap Classical commentators, in discussing their battles against the Gauls, noted that the Celtic peoples would leap over the shields of their opponents. The “Salmon Leap”, it seems, was simply learning high jumping techniques and practicing them until the warrior could jump up in the air higher than most. A 19th century author, discussing Irish stickfighting techniques, noted that the Irish “are pretty active on their pins when fighting”, indicating a method of footwork that might have involved jumping.
