Good Day All A Festival of this magnitude was successfully hosted by the sacrifice and effort of many people involved in the design, planning and execution. The Club would like to thank everyone for braving the cold, cloudy and rainy weather to attend the Festival. We received several complements from participating Clubs regarding many aspects of the Festival. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who made the Festival a resounding success. We would like to thank the Coupon and Tuck Shop mothers and grandmothers for their fantastic culinary skills ensuring that our guests had tasty food and warm drinks as well as our young entrepreneurs who helped serve the customers at the Tuck Shop. We extend our gratitude to our parents who surpassed our expectations with their organizational skills having erected several gazebos, chairs, tables and giving our players an array of tasty snacks. Several parents helped with the running of the Festival as well as those who volunteered their time on Friday with the set-up as well as on Saturday, providing assistance in various ways to ensure the continuous smooth running of the Festival. The games would not have run efficiently without the involvement of our ex-players, Senior and Under 17 sides. We appreciate their efforts and stamina during and after the Festival especially with the cleanup operations. With your help, the Fordsburg United FC brand has been maintained and with our continued effort and involvement will ensure the brands survival for another 50 years. Regards
