Good Evening Cousins, A while back the International Association - TopicsExpress

Good Evening Cousins, A while back the International Association of Chiefs of Police released rankings for police departments and our Facebook Pages. The rankings are based on department sizes and therefor reflective of the population of the community. The initial rankings of all categories were: 1) New York City; 2) Boston; 3) Philadelphia; 4) Brimfield (Ohio) After the rankings, over the next few months, we passed Philly and moved into third place. A short while ago….we passed the Boston Police Department. We are now ranked second in the country, behind New York City, as the most “liked” police page on Facebook. I would like to thank the academy, my director, producer and my eighth grade teacher, Mr. Caito. In all seriousness, we are thrilled; however, we are just doing what we do. Facebook is a glimpse of what my officers and staff do every day to protect and be of service to our residents and visitors. I have said all along, since some of the very first posts here….my crew is something very special. Regardless of media coverage, books or offers from TV producers….we remain focused on our mission, which is being the best public servants we can be. That means having integrity, compassion and an overwhelming urge to disrupt anyone who chooses to victimize those we protect. On behalf of my officers and staff…thank-you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and kind words….Chief Oliver
