Good Evening Everyone, It is with great sadness that we inform you all of the passing of Walt Josti this past Saturday, March 1st. Walt was a great Scouter and lived his life as most of us only hope to. Many of the young men in Troop 273 have had the privilege of taking National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) formerly know as Junior Leader Training (JLT) under Walts direction. He has helped develop thousands of young men over the years and has made the program what it is today. Our Councils NYLT program is one of the most highly sought after National Youth Leadership Training courses in the Northeast Region! If anyone is interested in attending the wake tomorrow evening, we will be meeting at the funeral home at 6:45pm in complete Class A uniform. Family and friends will honor and remember Walters life by gathering for calling hours at Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center on Tuesday, March 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Annes Church, 130 Boston Turnpike where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
