Good Evening all! Since everyone is so great and helpful on this page I was hoping for some weim advice! I have a 4 and half yr old weim that my husband and I adopted a little over a year ago. He is an amazing dog and has a demeanor with people but not with other dogs. We recently moved to a neighborhood where a lot of people do not put their dogs on a leash, either when walking or just letting them outside. This has caused me great anxiety since he had part of his ear bit off in his foster home and does not take well to dogs. We have a few instances already and I am trying my best to remain calm. I have tried yelling NO very loudly at the other dog. or try to refrain Hurley as much as possible. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be great. I have considered going to the HOA but I dont know how much can really be done??? Thank you so much for any advice!
