Good Lord – it’s William Holden night on TCM. Holden is one of my top fave raves of all time, and films tonight included Bridge Over the River Kwai, Born Yesterday, and coming up, The Wild Bunch … but I have to go to bed … not fair! A few years ago, Heritage Auction House sold items from the Glenn Ford estate, and I bought a gold filled Cross pen and pencil … one belonged to Ford and the other to Holden. They were good friends, and both wound up in Ford’s estate. But Peckinpah is way too much noise for me at 1 a.m. Time to hit the sack. Too bad I can’t take Bill with me. When I was a teenager, I was sooooooo jealous of Stephanie Powers!
