Good Morning Everyone... I really enjoy going to movies. Even so, we do not go very often. Someone told me today that this is the year of Christian movies. Coming out soon is Noah and Heaven is for Real. I am looking forward to both of these movies. Noah comes out on March 29th and the good part of this aside from the movie is that a group of friends are taking a special birthday girl out to lunch and to see Noah. I read the book ,Heaven is for Real, and it was really something. I saw the preview tonight. It looks like a winner. The little boy who is playing Colton seems very young for the role, but he is doing a good job. All this leads up to the movie that I saw tonight. Son of God. It was a new wrinkle to be able to say a lot of the lines as if I had memorized the script. There was nothing that was new info it this movie, but to see the story we all know and love enacted is quite captivating. Jesus was an attractive man. I am not sure if that is really a truth. In Isaiah it says that there was nothing of beauty in the promised Messiah. Maybe His appeal was the wonder of the things He was teaching and a charismatic way that He had. What I loved was the calm gentleness that was used to portray His demeanor with the people he spent His ministry time with. When He held someones cheek or looked into their eyes there was a love shown that every person on earth wants and needs to find. We can find that need fulfilled in Jesus.
