Good Morning Everyone. Other than sweaters ... fall is perfect for hot soup and toasted panini sandwiches. Brishan made a vegetable beef soup to take the chill off today. She makes her vegetable soup with pieces of pan seared sirloin, red wine, beef stock and all the FRESH garden vegetables that make a hearty soup: potatoes, peas, carrots, cabbage, turnips, onions, green beans. This soup will make your grandma happy. Well ... assuming your grandmother grew up in KY, and not in a NYC condo. And even if that is the case ... Im confident your big city grandma would like it too. We serve it with cornbread rolls. Today we are featuring a hot turkey, bacon, and provolone panini on a 15 grain bread with bistro sauce. It is Reese Schenkenfelder approved. Rest assured that Reese and I put everything Bries serves through a strenuous battery of tasting tests to ensure it will please the most discriminating and voracious of palettes. And as always we serve our award winning Best of the Best coffee, capps and lattes. Admittedly its a dubious honor considering the alternative ... but an honor none the less, and we like it a lot - and hope you do too. Have a great day everyone.
