Good Morning FB Friends it is Friday, January 31, 2014. Yes the last day of the month and what a challenging month it was, so glad that we didn’t have to walk it alone! Just finished the year end donation receipts for 2013, so grateful for all of you that helped us thru prayer, encouragement and financial giving! The Lord has shuffled the circumstances around, yet we are fully aware that He is Sovereign and He will guide us were we need to be this year. I encourage each of you to jump on your Destiny Road Journey and not let the enemy’s “agents of doom” steal your Joy on the Journey! I want us to talk today on our DRJ post about “Safe & Secure in the Arms of Jesus.” Our Daily Positive Declarations when we repeat what God says about us are constant reminders that we don’t walk our DRJ alone, in the midst of a world of “broken” relationships we hear clearly God’s words found in Hebrew 13:5b&6…For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” ~ A favorite portion of scripture to go along with this one is found when In John chapter ten, where Jesus identifies Himself as the Great Shepherd, let us stop at verses 27-30, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.” ~ When things look dark, and the “agents of doom” heap negativity on us, let us proclaim aloud the encouraging and secure words from God, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the VALLEY of the SHADOW of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Ps. 23:1-4) ~ This is not just a funeral passage it’s a “Life” passage alive with power and security for every day! ~ Let us close with a lyric from a tried and tested hymn of the faith, “What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms; I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, Leaning on the everlasting arms.” ~WE ARE SAFE & SECURE IN THE ‘ARMS OF JESUS!’ ~CLIMB ON BOARD FEARLESS JOURNEYERS! ~BLESSED2BLESS OTHERS!
