Good Morning Family, -I woke up late. (Never happens) -I hurt my toe getting out of the shower. (When did the toilet bowl move?) -I didn’t have time to lotion so yes, I’m ashy. (But I remembered the deodorant) -I broke my nail buckling my belt. (This is ugly) -My GPS took me over 2 bridges and through 2 tunnels which took me 30 minutes out of my way. (I knew I should have made that left turn at Albuquerque - in my Bugs Bunny voice) -I had a taste for a pecan waffle, but when I entered Waffle House the waitress was eating and she approached me with the food showing in her mouth because she was still chewing. She asked my order and my only thought was “Are you going to wash your hands since you just wiped your mouth with it in front of me?” (Appetite gone, thanks lady.) -A “friend” then called yelling at me at 6:15am about something I did wrong (something that wasn’t my responsibility to begin with), and all I could wonder was “Do people really wake up this angry?” -I almost ran a red light because I couldn’t see past the frustration that has now gotten the best of me. -I hit a curb trying to turn the corner and fuss with my “friend” at the same time and was eventually hung up on. (How rude and has that curb always been there?) -Now Im hungry, but I refuse to drive back to Waffle House because Im funny like that with my food (Does anyone have a banana?) -I get to work, turn off the car, lean my head back, breathe and I ask, “Lord, what the heck is going on this morning?” And He replied, “You forgot to talk to Me.” Oh my goodness! “Good Morning, Lord.” Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:7 It’s 7:26am, you still have time to let God fix your day.
