Good Morning! Happy Friday Eve. House Republicans, vowing to find out exactly what happened during the Benghazi consulate attack, will vote along with Democrats on whether to form a select committee to investigate. As you might expect, its much more complicated than simply trying to find out what happened the day four Americans died in Libya. Politics is in the mix. Big time. Democrats are threatening to boycott the committee, but might not because it might make them look bad pre-midterm elections. Trey Gowdy, a Republican from South Carolina told MSNBC Republicans should not raise campaign money off these hearings or Benghazi. But, according to Politico, that aint happening. Politico reports: ...The 2012 consulate attack and accusations of a White House cover-up are catnip for grassroots donors and activists. And Benghazi — and the select committee assigned to investigate it — is a key part of the GOP fundraising and mobilization strategy. This week, the National Republican Congressional Committee rolled out a new fundraising campaign called “Benghazi Watchdogs” — an effort by the aiming to raise money off Gowdy’s new position. Publicly available domain registration data shows that the site was registered Tuesday... Well have full coverage for you. Boko Haram, the terrorist group that claimed responsibility for kidnapping more than 200 school girls, is now accused of killing at least 150 people in Gamboru Ngala. The NYT reports this morning even Al Queda is squeamish about this group. In the meantime everybody is trying to figure out who can best rescue those girls. Its unconsionable really.
