Good Morning. I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy a leisurely commute into work today. I was able to see the trees leafing out, watch various birds circling overhead and I was even able to spy a deer foraging by the side of the road. Spring is here (even if I don’t have any mint in my garden yet). Apropos of nothing in particular I would like to make a suggestion to any driver who is unfortunate enough to get into a fender bender: Please pull your car off to the side of the road, for your own safety and for the sanity of everyone else who is trying to get around your accident and then to work. Our soup today is Cream of Spinach. The specials are Cottage Cheese with Pineapple and Peaches, Grilled Beef Patties with Cheese Sauce or Deep Dish Veal Pie with Dutchess Potatoes. For dessert we have Vanilla Pudding or Marble Cake. See you on Fort Street, By the way, we are looking for a couple of good servers who are able to work both lunch and dinner shifts. Experience is preferred.
