Good Morning, Ill tell ya, My memory isnt perfect, but let me tell you, I saw many games, basketball, football, etc, and was impressed by anybody I saw play that was nice in either sport. Man, in ball, as a young boy when I went to the games, I saw Ferris, they had Billy Ortiz, slick ass guard, I saw Caz Warner, tough hook shot coming out of a spin move, they has lester Harris, the biggest legs I ever saw on a player, thought he played the wrong sport. Lol. Then there was Lincoln, Mel Daise, big sleep in the middle, and Muwa at the point!!! Amazing!!! These schools turned out some players, Snyder, Charles Neeley, Willie Dawson, Lou King, Wayne Lilly aka Bird, Floyd Jacobs, Bayonne. Had a 3 headed monster, Thurmond Lee Green, And John Mc ginnis, he was the blackest white boy I ever saw play, and the point guard was Chakey, a tough nosed kid who ran the show!!! St. As had sooooo many greats starting with big bro DC Daryle Charles, and their history, 35 state titles, is unmatched!!! But, what intrigued me, was this little ass school, I could never find it, lol, St. Marys, Luke Griffin, Peto Ortiz, Ray Ortiz, Brian ice Lee, Pat Laguerre, the guard play was sick, Big Stan Whetstone, Richard Mack, Slip Hampton, Shaler Jackson, Kenny Coleman, wow, so much talent from that tiny ass school!!! Marist had my bro Kirk Eady, Didnt pay Dickinson Much attention, the school were all talent rich back then Hudson Catholic had Spanarkel and O Koren, North Bergen Had Calandrillo, Memorial had Jackie Gilloon, talent everywhere!!! Back to Snyder Shelton Gibbs, aka Cube, Boobie, Rafael Addison, Pooh Hairston, Rakim Burgess, Big Mark Walker, so many great players!!! Oh man Hoboken had Juicy, Bo Miller, LaSalle Davis etc......Those were the days!!! Hudson County ball was off the charts!!! Old school memories!!! Lincoln had the Wilsons Ricky and Jaybird, The Sumpters Mu, Eagle, Easy Epps, Schoolyard, House, Mike Harris, the Thomas bros Barry, Basil, and Brad, Snyder Bobby D, Ice McGee, KJ, Kirene Johnson, aww man, let me stop!!!
