Good Morning Punters (it is Melbourne Cup day after all), We have one runner – Leealan, going around today at the Gold Coast in race 3. Jumps at 2.59pm with Jackson Morris on board from barrier 4 after scratchings. Having 3rd run since joining the stable having ran 2nd first up and then 4th second time with just being beaten for 3rd just by Hampden which won on Saturday in town. (beat stable mate Lucky Sound) So the form around this horse from his previous runs suggests that we should look for another good showing today. It is a small field so every horse will get a chance in the straight. Good luck to all the Owners, Jockey and Trainer for today. Finally my tip for the cup is Number 16 – Royal Empire. (can probably cross that one off your list of chances now) Tony’s selection is Number 8 – Dandino. Have a great and safe day if you are out enjoying yourselves.
