Good Morning Saints, Today we are scheduled to to give back to our community in two ways. 1) First, We will meet at 12 noon at the church and travel over to the Ronald McDonald House, prepare cookies to give out to families of children hospitalized at Childrens Mercy. We will fellowship at the Ronald McDonald House with those families. The Youth Ministry is leading in this effort. See you at 12 noon at the Church! 2) Secondly, and later today at 4:00 pm we will meet at the church and travel over to Shefield House a shelter for the homeless in KC. We will serve an evening meal to the residents. There are 14 families who live in the Shefield House and we will fellowship and served them in lobby area at Shefield. The culinary and WMU ministries are primarily assisting in this outreach. We load buses at the church at 4:00 p.m. The Culinary ministry has already prepared the meal we will serve. Dr. Kings words are still true, Everyone can be great....because everyone can serve. God bless you and hope to see you later today.
