Good Morning Sportz Fanz!... There is not a moment... in any day that goes by without thoughts of Betty Jean... She loved life so much and loved God even more... so many lessons I learned from her even this many years after that dreadful car wreck... I miss her laugh, her smile and the time we spent rocking and talking some mornings... I have so much to thank her for... teaching me compassion for others, taking just a moment to appreciate those around me... and a great life lesson to never let my fear of failure out weigh my curiosity... that lesson has allowed me to experience, see and love so many things... and the failures in life made the successes just that much sweeter... I long for another morning eating a great breakfast that she would whip up out of that small kitchen... and sit and laugh on that patio one more evening with her... I was blessed with a great mom... I know how lucky I was to have her for as long as I did... Not another like her... So on her birthday today I send my love up to heaven and know she is smiling down on all who had the blessing of knowing her... If you still have your folks with you... you hug them real tight and tell them how special and blessed you are because of them... Love you mom... miss you everyday... I know God is enjoying you being at his side...
