Good Morning! ❤ The grandmas ( Sarah Prince and Joyce Hixson Jacks) and Jared went and spent the night back at the hotel. It has been amazing to have them here. And it makes for some good jokes! Ill take my mother with me and you take your mother with you.... I finally got to sleep! It seemed like I slept for 8 hours and when I looked at my phone it had been about 45 minutes. I woke up to a herd of staff in Hazels room... that was a little scary. Her heart rate got a little high because she was so mad. They gave her some extra doses of pain medication and that seemed to help. I just sat back and watched because I didnt want her to see me and get more fired up. During that that fiesty episode she decided she wasnt a fan of her breathing tube and she tried to take it out herself. They had to put little baby restraints on her. The nurse said they usually secure them to the diaper, but since she likes her hands up they tied them up above her head. Now they are down again, and she looks really comfortable. Her urine output is on the lower side. Last night they gave her some lasix (some people call this a water pill) to help her pee, and she responded to that. Her urine slowed during the night so they gave her some extra iv fluid (this time her blood pressure was on the low side so they didnt give her lasix) and she responded to that. Her BP remains a little lower so they might give her a BP medicine to raise it. They doctors will come and see her this morning and we will see what the plan is. Part of the plan will be too get that breathing tube out! Praying for another good day! It is cold here 33 degrees. Amanda Anglyn Rocco (one of my high school/UGA friends) is going to come watch Georgia/Florida with Hazel and I. #godawgs I am still in awe of this special fb page that I can go to anytime for so much support. We are all so thankful and humbled by so many that care about our precious little Hazelnut! ❤ #hjm
