Good Morning. Two big stories this morning: The tragedy unfolding in Ukraine after a civilian plane is shot down and the worsening crisis in the Middle East as Israel launches a ground war in Gaza. The Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told the world this morning: We ask all respective governments to participate in this investigation and to support the Ukrainian government to bring to justice all these bastards who committed this international crime. A team of international investigators are on the way to the crash site. Pro-Russian rebels say theyll have access to the site, but there is no guarantee. Weve also heard rebels have recovered the recording devices and have turned them over the Russia. Some Americans want President Obama to talk more strongly about his crisis. So far hes being cautious. Although Germanys Angela Merkel, said, “Once again that we need a political solution and Russia is largely responsible for what’s happening in the Ukraine now, and I would make an appeal—that the Russian president and the Russian government should make a contribution so that a political solution can be found.” Senator John McCain also weighed in saying, there should be hell to pay... But, many analysts say that cannot happen without the full support of European nations. Well talk you to Kiev, Ukraine. To Russia. To Gaza. To Israel. Gotta go...lots to write in the show today. Thanks for being here. See you at 9 and 10 AM ES.
