Good Morning and Happy Labor Day Stilettos Friends!!! I hope today finds you happy and healthy.....my view of the proper or classic Labor Day weekend and Labor Day itself is camping at the lake and going to family friends cabin to watch The Labor Day Classic where the Winnipeg Blue Bombers play the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina. Its super fun, lots of good food, great people and fun rivalry as it is the battle between the two Prairie Provinces!! To be honest, I know very little about football, CFL or NFL but if there is a football party or just friends getting together to watch....I love them!! Lets me come out of my hermit status and try on my Social Butterfly Wings on for a few hours!!!! lol Anyway, no party for us this year.....instead, we have blue skies and soon to be hot sun and I plan on spending the day between the garden and the coop. Hope that Farmer Beefcake will mow the grass as he finished moving grain....but well see. Ive learned not to hold my breath on anything during harvest time!! But ya, there are veggies to be picked, garden to be cleaned up, weeding to be done. Then, there is a lot of painting to be done in the run/coop area PLUS were going to try to figure out our topping for the run so no raptors can swoop on in and steal my babies. A day with lots of plans....but happy to just chillax outside if thats all that happens!!! 45 minutes and Ive promised myself Id have my coffee down and be on my way outside!!!
