Good Morning everyone! ! First and foremost we,as a family, would like to say , THANK YOU, to everyone that has supported us in anyway! !! Please keep sharing my sons story, if it helps just one person in anyway....... Ive been sitting here thinking about how to write this post for about 4 hrs and after Ive filled up my trash can, I just decided to let my fingers tap it out. So if I bounce around on subjects, Im sorry but know that it is coming from my heart! Ok.... updates on the case as to my knowledge. . There is a bond reduction hearing on the 22 of this month for Mr. Wheeler. They have sent out subpoenas for Facebook accounts of the individuals that where involved. They have confiscated some phones of the individuals that were involved to send off to get evidence. We have a meeting with the state attorney and the victim adversely also on the 22 of this month. We have an appointment to talk about the juveniles that were involved in this case the same day. Now on to updates about Aaron: Im still in the process of getting psychological help for my son. Im still in the process of trying to figure out what is the best way to go about my sons education. My son is still suffering from panic attacks which has lessened. Im in the process for looking for another job due to the national coverage that this story has gotten .I dont think its in the best interest for my family for me to stay at my current employment. We as a family are still making sure that someone in the family is with Aaron at all times. My oldest daughter has now moved back into the home to help more. Plus, as my son said, Mom your to old to remember what its like being a teenager, plus things have changed alot since you were one. , lol got to love that one , so she is helping him in that aspect. She also has a dog which has glued its self to Aaron, which has helped him tremendously, especially at night. We are still dealing with messages from certain individuals. We are still looking for an pro bono attorney. We have been encouraging Aaron to get back to all his normal activities, such as going out shopping, going out to eat ,going to church, etc. Aaron is starting to learn how to deal with people when they come up to him and start talking to him. He still feels the humiliation, the embarrassment, the helplessness, etc. It still scares him about people seeing him as a hero and a role model. He always ask me, Mom what if I let them down, or I mess up? Plus Mom Im far from perfect! Now as far as the thank you notes : Please understand this, my son wants to thank all of you himself and he has sat down to do this but his handwriting is not the best and he gets so frustrated and embarrassed( and he is going to get so mad at me about this) that it becomes overwhelming for him and he is torn because he wants to show his appreciation and he wants to say thank you because he truly appreciates it all. So Im trying to come up with a plan for this. Also please be understanding and patient with my family and I for we have never dealt with anything of this magnitude before. Again THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE, SUPPORT, PRAYERS, TIME, ENERGY, AND FOR SHARING MY SONS STORY !! I DONT KNOW HOW WE WOULD HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT YOU !! I think I have covered all that I can cover at this time for now and the never ending laundry is calling my name ,especially when youre doing it for 7 people, 5 of which is children lol.
