Good Morning everyone, Its building, Lets hope something drops this time! This is what was said to me yesterday afternoon by a farmer just to the south of warwick. He was spreading fodder for his livestock and as i spoke to him I took note of his Gnarled hands, his wrinkled eyes, his skin...hardened and rough, but this man, as he threw out the feed had compassion. I could see the compassion for his animals, Poor things, all they want is a feed, he said. I could hear the compassion in his voice as this proud Aussie said, At least I havent got it as bad as the poor buggers out west It is mental torture to see clouds build and nothing drops. For weeks on end the clouds build but still, no rain. The anguish this puts our farmers through is horrific. We need Media, politicians and corporate business to come onboard and help with these poor people. This is what it is all about, helping as much as we can and understanding how hard it is for the family on the land The Warwick Daily News has come onboard to help get the message out and have printed this article in a hope it may attract some attention to this cause. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Warwick Daily News for their support in getting the word out. you can view the story online at this address warwickdailynews.au/news/drought-hit-farmers-need-our-donations/2145172/ You can donate at this address aussiehelpers.org.au/donations/ The photo is just to the south of Warwick. It is about 50m down the road from my house. I am hating this drought atm. -Terry
