Good Morning everyone, for the past few days I have sat and OBSERVED not only here on Facebook, but importantly Our Communitys of Pt Augusta and Extended family members of the Adnyamathanha Community.. I attended a 3 day Forum of Violence,that affects us within our home, organization, family and most IMPORTANTLY our Community.. I Deal with people from all WALKS of Life in my profession and I see how problems can get out of hand when they are not dealt with the correct way.. There is Bickering going on regarding ROYALTIES that is affecting our Adnyamathanha community. We are too busy arguing over thatand FORGOT about what our ELDERS have taught and passed down to us.. Regarding Culture Muda, Respect, and most importantly Connection to and with our Families.. What MESSAGE are we leaving for our Children, which whether we like it or not are OUR NEXT UPCOMING GENERATION!!!!.. This is destroying and separating families and is now starting to affect our children... We have come so far as a positive to get what we worked hard for as Adnyamathanha people and Consent to Determination shows in that.. A Big Achievement. whether you choose to listen or not is up to YOU? Im not here to solve the problem, Im only speaking out as a PROUD Adnyamathanha woman, and also an Aboriginal woman of this Community... And I know that that Royalties is not only affecting the Adnyamathanha Community its affecting all Aboriginal Language groups... We need to get back to working together as LEADERS and REFLECTING on what our ELDERS have taught us.. The Message Ive passed onto my Girls is POSITIVE role modeling has POSITIVE outcomes... I hope you will take away a bit what I have said and today is a brand New Day.... Im off to work, I wonder what TODAY will bring me? Remember Take Care and stay Safe!... 👍
