Good Morning from Heaven. Sandy Wayne is sharing her morning spot - TopicsExpress

Good Morning from Heaven. Sandy Wayne is sharing her morning spot with Lewis today as she knows how much we miss our sweet od man. These pictures were taken one year ago today as Sandy Wayne played in the dirt in our front yard in the forest, and Lewis laid all cozy in his room napping. These two babies certainly have made an impact on my life, and many of you have shared this same experience. Not being able to hold these babies hurts so bad at times, then my heart begins to smile when I realize I am carrying them with me every day, and now they will never leave again. Good morning to my precious angels. Sarah has decided to hang out with me as I type this morning while Grace and Faith race through the house. Faith was sort of calm and playing with her toys, until Grace kept teasing her by running past where this kitty was playing. All Grace wants is to get this silly kitty to chase her. A couple of months ago Tommy and I were getting a little concerned that Grace had began gaining weight like Sandy Wayne did and was not being very active. She walked and hopped around the room, but not like a squirrel should. My how a few weeks have changed her life. Grace is full of life and energy now as she plays with her new friend. Grace will never be able to live independently outdoors, and has such a fear of GOING OUTSIDE, that we have realized even providing her with an outdoor enclosure is punishment for this girl. Some feel that her having a cat as her best friend is not a good idea, me included, but I didnt create this friendship, as a matter of fact I tried very hard to keep these two separated. God has a way of letting us know his intent, and now who am I to stand in the way of this beautiful friendship. Each of these animals have the ability to seriously injure the other, we are very aware of this, and some may feel it is irresponsible of us to allow them to play knowing this. We do monitor their play time, and each of them has their own safe zone where the other in not allowed to enter. Grace now has a full and rich life, thanks to this little kitty, and I hope they will continue to share this love for many years to come. Sarah has been slowly added to their play time and seems to be accepted by both of them now. Grace was not sure this little pup would be an ideal playmate and kept her distance for a while. I think she has realized this little girl can not see as well as most and has an advantage, so she has began teasing Sarah some as well. Sarahs sense of smell is spot on, and although she doesnt see Grace, she knows she is near by. Usually Sarah just sits nicely and watches as Grace passes, but when you least expect it, she jumps in that direction and Grace is usually about 5 feet away by this time. Sarah looks around as if to say, did I get her mommy?. As I laugh at this cute little pup, she joyfully hops and lopes over to me giving me hundreds of puppy kisses as if this is a reward of some sort. I watch the joy from these two special babies, Sarah and Grace, and I realize how much we create our own unhappiness. If something negative happens in their day, it is instantly replaced with a happy thought of the fun they are having, and the love they feel. If Sarah is having pains in her head, sometimes cuddling and talking to her takes away the moaning and groaning of the pain, as this helps release the natural chemicals in the body that push the pain aside. If we could only let our bodies do the work God created it to do, like these babies do, how much happier and stress fee our lies would be. The diapers on Sarah are working WONDERS. I expected to be changing the diaper all day, as she usually pees throughout the room , sometimes as much as every 15 to 30 minutes. I only have one diaper right now so I knew this was going to be a challenge. I ordered another one which will be here in a day or two, and plan to get several to have available. What the diaper is doing for Sarah is helping her to hold her urine and NOT pee until I take the diaper off and take her outside. She wore it all day yesterday without peeing in it. Since there is a hole for the tail, she still does poop, but it is firm and easy to pick up from the wood floor, and only does it once or twice a day. I took the diaper off last night as she went into her playpen to sleep. She has a bed, water, and puppy pads lining the floors of the playpen. She did get out of her bed and use the puppy pads a couple of times during the night, which is just fine. We may be able to use the diapers as a training method and hopefully she will be able to handle this without wearing them all the time. As you can see we are learning to adapt to many things around here. Letting my precious Grace play with Faith was a difficult struggle for me, and I did catch a lot of grief from others on FB about it, but the animals are teaching me that things are not always black or white, sometimes you gotta add a splash of color to your world in order to reap the full benefits of life. Enjoy your Friday and lets all LLSW & LLL - Live Like Sandy Wayne and Love Like Lewis
