Good Morning from Old Town Rock Hill, where it should be warmer than it has for the last few days, but for now a coat is still required for the morning hours. Blessings, they come in many forms and sizes. They come when you least expect them. They pop up when often you are at your darkest hour. So often we arent smart or wise enough to see them for what they are. A blessing can be a quarter found on the ground, a smile of a passing person, a prayer that you never knew was prayed. We have had more blessings poured out on us than I can tell you about. Sometimes you have to go down to truly be able to look up at the blessing poured on you. Sometimes we are to stupid to see the blessings for what they are. Our preacher buddy talks about blessings all the time, and with all his faults, he is one person who really knows what a blessing is. He often has a child like mind and I think thats what it takes to understand blessings. They come from everyone, and often they come from no one. Sometimes the blessing is finding something in a book as a surprise, a fact you didnt know. Sometimes its a memory of a passed love one. Sometimes its a smell or a image. Blessings are not always materialistic, they come in all shapes and sizes. Today go out and live your Moments in Time, dont look for the blessings you receive, but look for those you can share with others, go out and be that blessing to someone today, not just friends and family, but to strangers. In the end the one who received the real blessing will be yourself.
