Good Morning to all my friends & family, I have a very heavy heart today for my sister Vickie. A week ago today she was taken off her chemo due to her side effects and sickness. She was to stop her chemo until we go back to Chicago next Tuesday. So during this time she had a few spots to come up on her chest and head. (Just since Friday) so, we went and had a few biopsies on Wednesday and unfortunately received the news from her dermatologist on yesterday that it is indeed Melanoma. I know I ask this all the time for her but its only because I know that love and prayer has gotten her this far. Shes so weak & tired and even though they have stopped the chemo for the time being, she is still so very sick. She should hear from her doctor in Chicago today and go from there. We go Tuesday to Chicago for PET scans and they will decide on her plan for chemo and make any changes that need to be. Then on Oct 13th we will return to the dermatologist & have the remaining 3 spots removed and stitches taken out of the 2 that were biopsied. Thanks so much for your love and prayers.
