Good Morning to you wonderful people, the weather is nice, not too hot, not too cold. My thoughts for today are for our young folks 15/16 year old having now to obtain a Maths, and English grade C at least before they can leave school and get to work, if it had happened when I was leaving school I would have still been at school when I was 20 years because maths was not a subject I could get my head around until I was working as an engineering apprentice. I must have been a late developer, but something was blocking my ability to understand the concepts and method of tackling the subject, not at all like my family, its full of Mathematicians all our grand children got A+ in there exams, so there is no lack of brain power around its just that some folk at that age get a mental block for whatever reason but recover and are able to learn 4 or 5 years later, but staying at school is not the answer they need to change there enviroment to a work situation, with other folk and that can show them the importance of learning some maths, that will do the trick they could start by checking there wages to see if they were paid short.
