Good Morning, today I want to discuss anxiety. Unfortunately, anxiety seems to be part of life. There are many techniques we can use to combat anxiety - deep breathing, positive self talk, and guided imagery just to name a few. But what do you do when the anxiety does not go away? Some situations no matter how prepared or how often we are in them always evoke feelings of anxiety. I believe it is helpful to try and combat the anxiety, but I also believe there are times we must accept the anxiety and push through it. We dont always have the time to wait until the anxiety passes. In the midst of it we need to find a place of functioning, stop feeling afraid of the anxious responses our body is experiencing and step out into the thing that is causing us the angst. As we step out and refuse to allow the anxiety to stop us we win a victory over the anxiety that will overtime add up and help us defeat it. Believing the best for you, Geannine
