Good Morning, todays forecast is brought to you with Country Wood, Nairn. A cold frosty start with icy patches and a few sleet or snow showers. Outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow will reach the west coast through the afternoon and spread slowly eastwards, reaching all parts after dark. Most of the snow away from the coast and over higher ground but mostly turning to rain this evening. Highs today 3-7c mildest in the west and across the Northern Isles. Windy overnight with outbreaks of rain and a thaw of lying snow, winds will reach gale force in exposed spots towards the north and west. A milder night. Sunday morning will start with outbreaks of rain but this will soon clear as brighter weather with showers spreads from the west, the showers falling as snow above around 250m. Windy with gales around the coasts. Highs of 6-10c Cold and windy overnight with sleet or snow showers giving a covering above around 200m. Monday will stay cold and windy with scattered sleet or snow showers, most of these towards the west.
