On the 09 July 2014; I would like to confirm to you all; that as from 08 July 2014 All IUM Students who are NSFAF beneficiaries will NO LONG PAY REGISTRATION FEEs (finally its formalized) ; THIS STUDENTS WILL NO LONGER NEED TO PANIC DURING EXAMINATION FOR UN-PAID/OUTSTANDING TUITION FEES; THIS FELLOW STUDENTS RESULTS WILL BE RELEASED AND UNBLOCK ON THE I-enabler FOR ANY EXAMINATION REGARDLESS WEATHER NSFAF HAVE PAID THEIR TUITION FEES OR NOT. IN FACT THEIR RESULTS WILL BE UNBLOCT TODAY All this are stipulated in the Memorandum of understanding (MOU) that was signed yesterday (08 July 2014) between NSFAF AND IUM. Further More I have observed that Most of my fellow students results are not yet unblock due to financial matters; thus I have requested the Highest office at the University to Unblock the results for ALL THE STUDENTS; However this did not come easy; NOT AT ALL thus I request ALL MY FELLOW STUDENTS WHO PAY THEIR STUDIES BY-THEMSELVES (Especially our foreign brothers and sisters ) OR HAVE SPONSORS APART FROM NSFAF WHOSE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT PAID UP TO PLEASE MAKE ALL THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS TO CLEAR THEIR ACCOUNTS; Guys US The SRCs We have done our part; NOW ITS YOUR TIME. MY fellow students allow me to inform you that due to the fact that majority of the students up to this time have not seen their results yet; which means that it has become impossible for us to prepare or determine which subject you are required to write supplementary or not; thus the Student Representative Council Have submitted a Proposal to The University’s Vice Chancellors office; TO POSTPHONE THE SUPPLIMENTARY EXAMINATION SCHEDULE ON THE 14 JULY 2014 to (21 July 2014 ) as this will allow the students to best prepare to pass the supplementary exams ; Informally during a telephonic conversation with the Registrar and the Vice Chancellor the idea is received well and we are positive on the outcomes (it will be communicated officially to the students in due time) Credit should be give were its due;On behalf of the Student Representative Council - As the SRC President I would like to Urge and Encourage all my Fellow students to be proud of IUM; take ownership of your academic struggle; motivate yourself; tell yourself that you can do it; fellow students we have the best Leadership at the institution and we must good use of them; with that said please join me in Congratulating the Universities Vice Chancellor Mrs Virginia Namwandi; for her forever student-understanding culture and her willing heart ; this woman knows our needs as students; she is well informed of how majority of us students family backgrounds are!!
