Good Thursday morning, Hopkins Count area.....my thermometer is showing a cool 38 degrees this morning....could easily have a little bit of frost on things when daylight gets here....however, look for a quick warm-up and temperatures in the lower 70s and sunshine for the day.....another warm spring day is predicted for Friday, but a slight chance of some rain....I got a sneak peek at the SSHS Theater Arts Departments A Mid-Summer Nights Dream last night, as they continue rehearsals for next weeks District One-Act Play....Dont miss their public performance at 7:00 on Saturday night in the Civic Center Auditorium...the performance is awesome!.....Also, plan on making your way to Heritage Park for the 1st Annual Youth Art Show, that will be featured on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.....I went by during judging yesterday and we have some outstanding young artists in Hopkins County!.....Finally, as you can tell from the morning picture, I went by and spent some time watching Pat Chase create some art of his own, with spring plowing...he was busy discing his corn ground with his Belgian team...planting should be in a few days, Ill keep you posted!.....God promises us in Malachi 3:6, I am the Lord, and do not change!.....isnt it comforting to have an absolute constant in our lives?.....something that we can always count on to be unmovable in every storm of this life....Its our God and Father, who regardless of what happens is always the same dependable Father who is ready to hear our pleas, love us, and guide us in the path that we should take....things around us are constantly changing and chaos, but God the Father is the only thing in this life that does not change....Hes the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow!...Have a blessed day, knowing that you can depend on the Lord as a constant in your life!
