Good Times/ Bad Times, Matt has been off for a couple of days riding the forest roads between Pemberton and Chilliwack. Riding on some superb terrain in the most stunning scenery. However towards the end of the ride yesterday a couple of minor faults occurred with Matts bike. All the connectors for the rear lights sheared off after Roxy bottomed out on a few sections of rough track, riding in pitch black on dirt roads with no rear lights is not fun. Matt stopped at the first accommodation he could find and did a temporary fix in the morning. Also the rough roads seem to be shaking loose the bolts that hold Matts luggage in place and Metric bolts arent easy to get hold of out here. Matt has an Idea on how to remedy the situation and is now seeking advice of getting a permanent fix done. Unfortunately the faults meant Matt chose to play cautious and drop out of dualsportbc ride out this morning in Chilliwack as loose luggage could have caused more damage and the bodged wiring could easily come apart if shaken to hard.
