Good afternoon FB friends and family. I am home alone for the most part. My son and sister are in and out. Son comes and prepares breakfast for me before work, and anything else I need done. Sister checks to see what I need her to do. DOnt know what I would have done through this process without my son, daughter and sister (who I helped raise and she seems like one of my children also). I am moving around the house with the aid of a walker. It enables me to get around. I was told that it would be six months before my back would be healed. Just trying to do what I can do, which is very little. I get up and do something for a few minutes then it is sit down again. However, by moving around hopefully it is strengthening the back muscles. Will have to have my son take me to vote in the wheelchair. I will have to go in the basement of City Hall and ride the elevator, but I dont want to miss voting. It is so nice to be back in my home. The Care Center was helpful and nice to me, but no place like home is exactly right. Dr. Edmondson has me on Protonics to helpfully control the GI bleed. So far, havent had one in over a month so please continue to pray for me that I wont have another one. I have had health problems the most of this year and am so looking forward to an end to that.
