Good afternoon fellow Zimbabweans. We have been receiving lots of rains recently and we thank God for that. We are looking forward to a good agricultural season. However the rains have resulted in floods in low lying areas. This has made our already bad roads more deadly than before. I urge you to drive carefully on these roads to avoid loss of life and damage to your vehicles. Some people have lost their lives due to the floods. My heartfelt condolences to the affected families. When you elect us into office in 2018, I commit to setting up a National Disaster fund to help in times of national tragedies. During my adress to over 200 people who braved the pouring rains to attend our TZ meeting at our HQ in Hatfield on the 3rd of January 2015 I urged our supporters to help fill up potholes on the roads and commit themselves to help the situation in small ways in our local areas. The state of our roads is horrible and we condemn in the strongest sense the gorvenment for neglecting the roads only to loot our national resources. Under a Transform Zimbabwe gorvernment, you will get a better nation with better infrustructure! God bless you and God bless Zimbabwe.
