Good day ahead . We have an excellent opening for Service Desk Professional for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Company Our client is a prominent key player in Energy and Resource Sector Position Title : iM Service Desk Analyst Summary of Responsibilities: • Comply with OneWay for personal safety and safe working practices. • Receive and register Service Requests (SR), and follow documented processes to resolve them. Assign SRs, as appropriate, to the appropriate resolver group and continue to oversee the SR work queue to ensure that SRs are being resolved in a timely manner to meet service level objectives. • As directed, maintain currency of the lists of supported applications and technology and their resolver groups, and escalation and notification managers. • Under direction of the Service Desk Knowledge Manager, develop and refine procedures and processes for use by Service Desk Analysts in resolving SR. • Perform activities, projects and tasks as requested by management. Job Specific Knowledge: • Experience with delivery of Service Management for a large scale business operation. • 1+ years’ experience with ITIL / ISO 20000 service management frameworks. • In-depth knowledge and experience of IT technologies, and their application to business operations. Industry Specific Experience: • Broad understanding of ECPM industry, and related IT requirements. • Understanding of industry business strategies, and related IT enablement. Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: • Degree or certificate in IT area, or equivalent experience in IT role. • Accreditation in ITIL / ISO 20000 methodologies. IT Skills: • Experience with large scale Service Management provision. • Skills and experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, and other hardware and software deployed globally in the ECPM industry. People Skills: • Ability to empathies with internal clients, especially for when Incidents, Problems and / or Changes arise with the provision of Information Management Services. • Ability to work constructively with resolver group managers and teams, in order to ensure that service level objectives continue to be met. • Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
